Man killed outside NYC deli in broad daylight shooting
A man was shot dead in broad daylight outside a Brooklyn deli Wednesday, authorities said.
The 36-year-old targeted victim was blasted in the neck on the corner of Gates Avenue and Nostrand Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant while standing in front of Mr. Gates Deli just before 7:30 a.m., according to law-enforcement sources.
EMS took the mortally wounded unidentified man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he died.
Four shell casings were found at the scene, sources said.
The gunman fled on foot, according to police.
No arrests have been made, and it’s unclear what led to the bloodshed.
The deadly shooting comes a month after an innocent bystander was killed outside a Washington Heights bodega.
