Franco Harris, an American football player who played for the Seattle Seahawks and the Pittsburgh Steelers, was born on March 7, 1950, and passed away on December 21, 2022.

The Pittsburgh Steelers selected him in the opening round of the 1972 NFL Draft. His first 12 seasons in the NFL were spent with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He became a  Pro Football Hall of Famer in 1990.
